Gtown vs. Charlotte 12pm FSN

Nova vs. Cuse 1pm FOX

PC vs. Umass 1pm CBSSN

Butler vs. Indiana 2:30pm FS1

Xavier @ Auburn 6pm SECN/ESPN3

5 really good games No easy games for anyone.

Charlotte has a top 50 RPI and wins over Penn St and South Carolina. They're also playing their 3rd game in 6 days while the Hoyas are playing their first in 7. Should be interesting if we come out rested or rusty.

Butler v IU is part of the Crossroads Classic in Indy. For most Butler fans, this is the game of the year. IU has a dynamic offense, lead by the nation's leading freshman scorer James Blackmon. I will be interested to see if Jones guards him or Yogi Ferrell, the lightning quick point guard. Robert Johnson, another freshman, completes the three headed monster at the guard position. IU's weakness is a horrible defense. They are very soft inside and are easily exposed on screens. They will play zone most of the game. They have no one to match up with Woods. This should be a high scoring affair. Dunham must, and should, have a big game offensively but will have to defend.

What is puzzling is that there are plenty of tickets available today. Purdue plays Notre Dame in the nightcap. I know IU is somewhat disappointed that they had to decline an invitation to the CBS Classic today due to this previously scheduled bonanza, but that shouldn't keep the fans at home.

Huge game today for Butler fans. IU fans are probably our least favorite.

A lot of interesting matchups that favor Butler. Crean's offensives are notorious for being piss poor in the half-court. Forcing them out of transition is the key to the win today.

While it is our biggest game of the year, I don't think Hoosier fans feel the same.

IU will play a zone, so that side of the matchup is irrelevant.

What's your guess on the three key defensive matchups: Jones, Barlow and Dunham v Blackmon, Ferrell, and Johnson? I have Jones on Blackmon, Barlow on Ferrell and Dunham on Johnson.

The Bulldogs are 3-0 in the Crossroads Classic event and have won seven in a row at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

I'm looking forward to the bowl as basketball today as well. Don't worry the bowl games will beat basketball in the ratings game. The FCS playoff game bast Saturday beat basketball. We live in a football world.

I had a feeling Syracuse was going to exact revenge against the Big East for their loss to St. Johns.
