Not sure how to define "middle of the pack" but one thing to keep in mind is fatigue. I mean, MU has 8 guys on the roster plus a walk-on who was added last week. At some point, the fatigue is going to take its toll (one of the many reasons that having Burton and Dawson transfer sucked so bad).

I don't know if this will be as much of a factor as you would think. The conference schedule for Marquette has no games where they play with 1 days rest(unlike last year where you guys had 4 times where you had only 1 day between games).

I agree that except for Nova probably being at the top, almost everyone else could finish in any position. I'm not convinced DePaul is at the bottom - They've looked pretty good a couple of times I've seen them.

Well, we fell apart at the end, but it is still a win over a power conference school. Marquette is now 3-3 against p5 schools. Things could be worse.

That's a great result for Marquette, especially in a down year.

Hell if Marquette can solidify a their point play early next year, Marquette will be scary good with the influx of talent about to arrive on campus.

While I don't think Arizona State is very good, I was surprised at how much better we looked than a week ago.
