If Gonzaga was in Detroit, Pittsburgh, Boston or Baltimore i'd agree. But they are in Spokane, so they will never come to the BEast.

As an XU fan, it's been he|| for all but the last two years being dubbed the Bearcats' red-headed step-brother. They maintained this stance even during the last decades during which time the Muskies have dominated them on the court. Now WE are in the dominant Conference and I want it to remain that way. It's easier to do so as long as UC is mired in the AAAAAAAAAAC.
I actually hope UC gets invited to the big 12. It's good for the city and UC fans aren't dedicated enough to go to their games if they are in the AAC, it's almost depressing how fleeting their fan base is.
The AAC schedule is hurting UConn attendance here in CT as well. And this is a basketball crazy state.

I'd say WF would be tops on the list if it were to ever happen. Anyway, just wondering if there was a more recent article about these statement the President of Wake Forest made in 2013.

If the presidents thought that there was a benefit in adding them (and/or one of: SLU, Dayton, VCU, etc.) they'd already be in.

What really is going on at UConn? i know publicly they have to grin and say all is well, but id imagine most cant be too happy with how realignment hasw taken shape so far. what does the administration think? how about the fans?

The geography problem is exaggerated. They're 2 hours in the air past Creighton.
