Its no surprise seeing as how poorly they played after the first few minutes of the half.
Tennessee completely took them out of their game, not only getting in their heads with jawing back and fourth, but also getting out coached IMO. The silver lining is that sometimes a loss like this will do lots of good for the rest of the season. The ranking was too high, and these guys need to realize their weaknesses. It serves as a good wake-up call, and a sharpening of their focus. I think Tennessee exposed those, so they have a week to improve and then hopefully kick the crap out of IU.
If BU had been handled thoroughly all game, I'd be much more concerned. Sure Tennessee is not a great team, but they do have talent, and it was on their home court. Butler shat the bed and had correctable mistakes and poor play for less than half of the game. It can be, and will be fixed.
I can forgive this game (really, the 2nd half), but an uninspired loss to IU, and I'll have problems, and concerns.
