Would be a good get for the Big East too.
I hope this is facetious. Let's not forget what this conference is founded on. Basketball. Basketball basketball basketball basketball basketball.
The University of Toronto's 'Varsity Blues" are currently 2-6 this season, and lost to Illinois-Chicago in a preseason game this year by 37 points. This is the same UIC team that lost to DePaul.

Seriously, you would let that keep the Univ. of Toronto out? If we add a public eventually, let's say UConn, I'd be all in on inviting Univ of Toronto at the same time. Huge public university, huge market, big splash. No doubt, win win win. That's why the Big Ten has been rumored to consider them in the past.

If that's at me, I only called it intriguing for the B1G, not something they should do. Look at AAU schools in the direction the B1G is expanding (East) with new, large markets, and the Canadian schools kind of stick out. It would be really out of the box, manufacturing partners where you want them.
There were rumors the B1G looked at Toronto a few years back, though who knows if true. There already is one Canadian school in the NCAA, though in the lower divisions. There is some slight precedence.
