I don't know what you don't understand about this. AS OF RIGHT NOW YOU CAN'T HAVE A CCG WITH LESS THAN 12 TEAMS AND TWO DIVISIONS!!!' It is a hard and fast rule. This isn't an opinion this is a fact. They want to change that rule but they need the other four conferences to approve it, and there is no reason to believe they will. What part of that don't you understand? That link you posted isn't dome reputable news site not does it say it's going to happen.
Where did I say that today you can have a championship game with 10? I said it is under discussion by the Big 12, which it is. You said No Chance In Hell. I said, it is being discussed, so there is your Chance In Hell. Your validation isn't needed for the Big 12 to take this under discussion. I'm sure they are also discussing how to get the less than sacred rule rescinded. It is not cast in stone. Read up on the rule. It was written for Division II teams. It's not one of those golden rules that can not be discussed.
You can continue to have your opinion. I don't need to agree with it.
Great, then don't agree with the NCAA rule. They still have to abide by it.

You're overstating the objections by the rest of P5 conferences to deregulation of Conference Championship games. This issue was expressly discussed and negotiated among the P5 when they were deciding strategies in their push for autotomy. The Big 12 has been leaning towards requesting it even though they have consistently said that they don't want to have a CCG (the coaches are especially against it) to simply give themselves more options. The ACC is for it (deregulation) and have said they will push for a vote on it because they want to do away the divisional requirements and have the option to match up their number 1 and number 2 schools in order to boost SOS. The SEC is neutral to favorable on the issue because they are currently having significant internal strife on their scheduling system. Schools like LSU feel like they have to play an unfairly difficult schedule due to the way they choose cross-divisional games. Removal of the divisional requirements would allow them much more flexibility to better balance out there schedules (including possible a pod type system).
