The game was a horror show. And Virginia is the ACC's golden boy. Loved Va's strutting around and dunking on Rutgers near the end, like they really accomplished something.

Virginia is not the ACC's golden boys. No way. Like I said they are the 4th highest ranked team this week in the ACC - behind Duke, Louisville, and UNC.

Marquette finishes off Tennessee 59-67

lol, way too funny....

And it helps the Big East even with Nebraska winning- possible the Creighton/Nebraska game on Sunday is to get ranked. And yeah even makes Rutgers look better for the Hall(talk about lipstick on a pig)....

now if FSU can just finally lose in football to let the ACC go rot.

Wow, unexpected.
Stephen F Austin 64, Memphis 52. <--- at Memphis.

Maine 82, Wagner 81 (OT).
Maine beat Wagner in OT, on a last second shot off an inbound. This gives a first Div-1 win to Bob Walsh, former Friar assistant under Tim Welsh, and longtime successful head coach at Rhode Island College in Div-3. RIC used to be a teachers' college back in the 50's, and it was my mother's alma mater. I grew up like 3 minutes from campus. Nice school.

The ACC continues to get thrashed by the Big 10

Wake goes down to Minnesota (a St. John's victim)
Michigan beat Syracuse (a future St. John's victim)
Pitt lost to Indiana
NC State lost to Purdue

Louisville and Miami both won their games for som consolation for the ACC! But right now the Big Ten leads the challenge series 6-2. Couldn't happen to a nicer group of schools. :P

Some interesting late games from Wednesday night:

(25) Utah 69, (8) Wichita State 68, OT. <--- at Utah.
This was the first Wichita regular season loss since losing at Creighton 90-81 on March 10, 2013.

Cal 78, Montana 76, 2OT. <--- at Cal.
Idaho 77, Washington State 71. <--- at Wazzou.
Texas Tech 46, Auburn 44. <--- at Texas Tech. Weird low scoring game.
Long Beach State 68, Nevada 57. <--- at Long Beach... the Beach isn't that bad...

also,
Lehigh 61, Saint Francis of PA 59. <--- important that Lehigh wins some games.

The AAC is more or less the Missouri Valley Conference.
