12/1: 0 Games. A Look At the Week Ahead?

Postby notkirkcameron » Mon Dec 01, 2014 10:25 am

Bit of an early-season rivalry week, with the marquee tilts being Providence vs. Boston College, Marquette vs. Wisconsin, Creighton-Nebraska, "The Jersey War," an Old-Big-East Rivalry, and a pair of Big 5 tilts.

Tuesday
Niagara at St. John's
Northern Illinois at DePaul
Mount St. Mary's vs. Seton Hall

Wednesday
Butler at Indiana State
Villanova at LaSalle
Creighton at Tulsa

Thursday
DePaul at Chicago State

Friday
Providence at Boston College

Saturday
Wisconsin at Marquette
St. John's at Syracuse
Rutgers at Seton Hall
Northwestern at Butler
Alabama at Xavier
St. Joseph's at Villanova

Sunday
Creighton at Nebraska
Towson at Georgetown
UW-Milwaukee at DePaul
Al McGuire: "What is this?"
Waiter: "Mr. McGuire, that is a cull lobster. Sometimes when the lobsters are in the tank, they fight. This one lost a claw."
Al McGuire: "Well then take this one away and bring me the winner."

Thinks for the overview.

More on rivalries. Niagara @ St. John's is the annual battle of the Vincentians. Then St. John's travels 250 miles to take on "New York's college team" @ Syracuse.

With regard to marquis matchups, Butler & Xavier have the opportunity to add a couple more P5 scalps to the growing collection. ;)

Agree. I thought he'd already mentioned that one. I was just adding to the points he'd raised. :)
