So, Bill, the Jays are a better team than O.U. . Carving stuff in stone can get pretty messey after a bit.

On that day the Jays were the better team. That's a fact, not my opinion. OU has something to prove with regard to the Jays.

So Bill does that mean ole miss is a better team or just better for that one game? If that is true the NCAA selection committee is going to have a very difficult time deciding who they should invite to the tournament.

The Selection Committee bases their decision on a team's total body of work, not just one game.

I think that very fe teams are "better" than other teams. With a few elite exceptions, most teams match up well vs some teams at their level and not so well against others. So, one team can be "better" in its matchup against a certain team but not have the better overall resume.

In addition, no one is completely consistent. Various parts of anyone's game can break down at some point or can excel above normal production for a time. Some teams are more inconsistent than others. For example, "live by the 3, die by the 3."

All I'm saying is that the best evidence that we have about any 2 teams this early in the season is how they performed head to head. There really isn't any better evidence than that.
