I'd like to keep a list of Big East wins over Football Power 5 teams. Help me out with ones I miss.

Providence over Florida State
Providence over Notre Dame
Butler over North Carolina
Creighton over Oklahoma
Villanova over Michigan
St. John's over Minnesota
Georgetown over Florida
Marquette over Georgia Tech

That's 7 different BE teams with wins over the P5.

The Big East takes another scalp! And a surprising one at that.

DePaul over Stanford.

Add:

Marquette over Tennessee

Despite the PC loss, not a bad day at all. . . As long as Xavier doesn't blow their game against Long Beach State.

Xavier came back to take the lead but then Long Beach hit a 3. Tight game.

Marquette takes care of the Volunteers and DePaul joins the party and becomes the 8th member to beat a Football 5 program. Only Xavier and Seton Hall have yet to play a team from a F5 league and that changes this week. Friars can't stop the Calipari machine in Lexington.

obviously this will change a TON this week with the ACC/Big Ten challenge. and also Big 12/SEC challenge But ending November, we are #1.

If you add in A10, MWC, WCC, and MVC- to make it the top 10 and all of the conferences that will get at-larges in the Tourney

Unexpected loss by the Friars to Boston College to start off the weekend. Big East needs a little mojo. Hopefully tomorrow delivers.

A another great Big East day! Marquette put up a good fight against the #2 team in the land but fell short But the rest of the group put on a beat down. The Hall smashed Rutgers at The Rock, Xavier took out Alabama, and Butler wins over Northwestern. Oh yeah, the Johnnies take out the Orange at the Dome for another ACC scalp and against one of the Big East's four founding fathers. Dave Gavitt must be smiling. Really nice job gang. Really nice.
