You really don't know the RPI then. looking at RPI forecast, UTEP would have to finish at 18-10 to not be in the top 100. Ole Miss 17-13. Both of those should be pretty easy to do. They may not be a top 100 team in reality, but in the RPI, they will be.

I don't know anything about UTEP, but I'd be very surprised if Ole Miss didn't finish in the top 100. They were 78th in Sagarin last year and there were 9 teams in the SEC in the top 100 with an additional 2 in the top 110. Ole Miss was picked in the preseason poll to be 6th in the SEC.. so I kinda doubt they are looking at a 100+ RPI. Hell, they have a chance at a top 100 RPI even if they finish in the top 11 of the conference.

Old Miss was picked 6th in the SEC which means top half, their only loss was when they were missing their best player and they just beat Cincy....they will easily be top 100 and probably a bubble team. UTEP is harder to gauge cause their conference really sucks which will drag their rpi down.

You saying that UTEP is a bad loss is really ignorant. Last year they were 23-11. They are 4-0 this year. redman you just want to look at everything thru prism thinking that if you aren't in the F5, you suck. That is just complete ignorance.

Only way I can say that the UTEP (and Ole Miss) losses were bad losses is that they cost Xavier and Creighton a shot at Washington and Cincy respectively- which would be chances at real good wins.

I agree with Stever here, UTEP isn't a bad loss. Ole Miss isn't a terrible loss either. Should beat them but not terrible losses at all.

Nevada isn't what they used to be quite frankly. 2-4 right now and just not that good. Projected 11-19 by Ken Pom.

Not that Nevada is great or anything, but Omaha just took them apart. Omaha's RPI is going to end up being crap, but they're a decent team.
