Great to see Marquette pull out a much needed win. I hate that Butler and Georgetown square off tomorrow, but still plenty of opportunities for big wins by multiple schools this weekend.

A big win for Marquette after losing to Omaha on Saturday and struggled to beat NJIT on Monday.

Anyway this is a big win for Marquette. Now they get a crack at ranked Mich State and if they win that and KU wins their game they get another big matchup vs ranked KU. Even with Marquette having a horrid start they COULD beat either or both teams in a neutral site which would set the college bb world on fire.

Wow, I don't see that happening. However, I'm glad they won and the Hoyas were close to putting the exclamation point on the weekend. Great effort. It is a blast to be part of this league.

.500 for the day. Though we fell in the bigger games, Marquette has delivered another P5 scalp.

I do wish everyone on this board call them the F5 or Football 5 instead of the Power 5 ( which is what ESPN and those conferences want to promote). We should be the ones to put pressure to change that terminology. I use to hate mid major when CU, Xavier, Butler's weren't really mid major other than by name. this conference is a power conference!

Tim Brando uses autonomous five.

Great win by Marquette, don't expect them to beat MSU but they will likely get a crack at Tennessee.

My guess is the winner of Butler-Georgetown is ranked on Monday. Two solid wins including one over a top 20 team (whichever wins) probably moves them into the 20-25 range. #22 UCLA got blown out today by #5 UCLA and yesterday by Oklahoma. Obviously Georgetown took out #18 Florida yesterday. The day before that Nova beat #19 Michigan and #13 Iowa State lost to Maryland. Some of those spots will open up.

My guess is PC beats Yale, and it probably doesn't matter how they play against Kentucky. They could easily be ranked come Monday. If Creighton wins they will remain ranked in the AP and likely be ranked in the coaches' poll. I foresee 3 ranked teams come Monday; Nova, Georgetown/Butler winner, Creighton. Decent shot at 4 with PC.

I'm not counting SJ out of their game with Gonzaga, but that will be a dogfight. Good luck guys.

Nice win today Xavier, good luck tomorrow. Good luck to PC and Creighton as well. Georgetown/Butler...sort yourselves out. May the best team win.

I don't see us winning tomorrow, but fingers crossed.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Thanks to everyone for the congrats. I think the team showed some growth tonight. Uphill battle, but this one was encouraging.

Creighton was able to beat Oklahoma, but Butler, who beat #5 North Carolina could not.
