Watching St. John's is so much different than watching Creighton.

I have no doubt that if SJU and Minnesota had a 1 on 1 tournament between the teams, SJU would win handily with their superior athleticism, but in game action they take terrible shots, over rotate on D, don't close out on shooters, and try to make the Sportscrnter Top 10 over making the extra pass. Not an easy team watch or root for.

This is true. But that can be said for many teams.

I didn't like how the last 8 minutes was played. There is still another half left.

That's why I didn't quote any of the previous posts. It was my own semi-drunken rambling, apropos of nothing.

St. John's has been a second half team under Lavin, but not confident.

Marquette is about to have some company

Watching the Depaul game now. I think something that Johnnies (and possibly Hoyas) are missing is that chip on their shoulder. They need to watch Butler today and learn about fighting to win.

I really like the ball movement I'm seeing from St. John's. Much improved over last year. 3 point shooting still a problem. I expect a better 2nd half from them.
