Omaha is D1 now. Believe they converted from D2 in 2012-2013, so fairly recent.

Playing ugly. Wow, all the optimism I had after the Ohio State game is going away fast.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

It's all the D. Offense looks good. This may be a struggle until Fischer is eligible and we get some size.

UNO isn't as bad as everyone thinks. They'll compete with the South and North Dakota States and Oral Roberts for the Summit League Title. Having said that, Marquette can't lose this game.
However, there are games like this every year.
“Even though I’m not playing I still don’t want my school to be disrespected, because I play for the name on the front of my chest, not the name on my back. I’m a part of this family now, and when they disrespected them they disrespected me”-Mo Watson Jr.

As a UNO alum it is pretty difficult to not root for my Mavs. But Marquette and the Big East have a lot more to lose than UNO has to lose from this game. Marquette comes out and wins in second half. But how about we let my Mavs at least not get blown out. Marquette by 7 okay? . . . and it be a game that gives Marquette plenty of tape to learn from. But not so much they use it against the Bluejays later in the season. I guess I am greedy. ;)

So, it would now be time for Marquette to step on the gas peddle?
