1. Make tourney: 6... Villanova, Georgetown, Xavier, Providence, St John's, Seton Hall.
1a. All except DePaul make postseason.
2. Make Sweet Sixteen: 4... Villanova, Georgetown, Xavier, Providence.
3. Surprise team: Creighton... yes they lost McDermott, but many of their wins were by 25+ points... they'd have beaten Nebraska, Cal, etc by double digits even without McBuckets. Could be like the Seton Hall team the year after they lost Mark Bryant, or the UConn team the year after they lost Cliff Robinson.
4. Underachiever: St John's.
5. Player I'd like: Isaiah Whitehead... expecting IW and Hall to make a big jump this year.
6. Player responsible for success: D'Angelo Harrison.
7. Coach: John Thompson III.
8. Expansion: no expansion, but would be in this order, Connecticut and Gonzaga. Next tier would be VCU, Dayton, San Francisco, Saint Louis. Really low tier of Holy Cross so I can get to road game more easily, and Siena because of fanbase and to chip into Syracuse catchment area to aggravate them.
9. Final RPI: 2nd, behind Big Ten. Big-12 is 3rd... ACC in 4th... Pac-12 in 5th...
10. Challenge: Keep fighting against the dinosaur-brained football crowd, the shortsighted crowd, the people that can't see obvious potential and positives, the trolls.

I'll have what he's having (except Marquette not getting any love).

1. Make tourney: Villanova, Georgetown, Xavier.

2. Make Sweet Sixteen: Villanova, Georgetown, Xavier.

3. Surprise team: virtual tie here IMHO - Butler, assuming no injuries and the interim coach is as good as advertised, with their downside being depth; Creighton, because the substantial, attention-grabbing amount of talent that walked out the door overshadows the capabilities Creighton has lined up for this year, and winning is in the cultural DNA of this solid program.

4. Underachiever: St John's. Very frustrating for me, because we need for St. John's and Seton Hall to be solid. Even more frustrating because Lavin brings star power to the Big East, but seemingly poor coaching ability.

5. Player I'd like: Isaiah Whitehead. 5.(b) most of Villanova's starting line-up.

6. Player responsible for success: Roosevelt Jones. Let's see what he truly means to this edition of Butler basketball.

7. Coach: Jay Wright.

8. Expansion: no expansion for three more years, or when existing desirable football schools become available, if ever.

9. Final RPI: 4th.

10. Challenge: Ignore the noise from the outside; continue building each program internally; have patience and faith in our broadcast partner, knowing that Murdoch seldom fails or gives up, especially involving investments at this level.

Wow. 4 in the Sweet 16 and 6 in the tourney? 2nd RPI? For that to happen everything and I mean everything would have to go right.

you were the only one who saw 6. Butler instead of Seton Hall. Let's see if Xavier can win tomorrow to lock up their spot. Though 1a was off as Creighton and Marquette have no shot of the tourney.

Amazing how really only you and 1-2 others had 5 even.

The one projection most wrong- team best chance to disappoint- lots put St John's.
