Any chance he'll transfer to Creighton?

The Jays are interested. He's a Wichita native, and they seem interested as well.

There was a rumor in the late Spring that Conner was leaving KU for Creighton. We'll see what happens. He would be an absolutely perfect fit in our offense. Bill Self said he was in line to start their exhibition opener, so the timing is certainly a bit interesting.

Thanks for the info.

He's clearly a good player. When I noticed that he was from Wichita, I figured that he could do better with Creighton's academics that with those at Wichita State but still be relatively close to home. Since he's not an NBA prospect, I figure that his degree is probably important to him. Seems as if Creighton would be a good fit.

Don't know much about him but he played on the US junior national team so he's no slouch. Considering the shooters that Creighton has put in the NBA, I'm not sure you can say he doesn't have nba potential,

He was the leading scorer on the US U-17 team that won the FIBA world championship. That team included Jabari Parker, Stanley Johnson, Jahlil Okafor, Dakari Johnson and others.

I am sure he is a good player. I mean he went to Kansas. But 6'0 unathletic combo guards who are only know for their 3-point shooting and don't play defense do not have NBA potential

Huh? As I recall Diener was a big time 3-point shooter. Frankamp hasn't been that so far.

Frankamp, out of HS was regarded as perhaps the best pure shooter in the 2013 class. He was also the primary perimeter threat for the US Junior team. If there is anything that he is really good at, it's shooting 3's. He struggled a bit from outside in his lone season in Lawrence (31%), but that probably had more to do with him seeing limited minutes. He did end the season well, going 4-7 from 3 against Stanford in their final NCAA tourney game.
