FS1 didn't have the playoffs last year.

the NLCS got a 2.8 rating and 4.5 million viewers for the 5 game series....

It was down 43% in ratings and 42% in viewership from the 2013 ALCS series shown on Fox.

The ALCS got a 3.2 rating and 5.1 million viewers for the 4 game sweep on TBS.

In fairness, Boston is a much bigger market and has a much larger national fanbase then SF or STL.

U can't compare FS1 ratings to Fox national TV ratings, that's just stupid. Fox will win everytime because everyone has it. The important thing is that FS1 broke all their ratings marks with the NLCS.

FS1 continued with a solid day in ratings for the three games on last Saturday in college football. Lead by West Virginia upset over #4 Baylor.

Where do you get the numbers? Every since sonofbronx stopped his blog, I haven't been able to find numbers unless there is an article on it.

FS1 got a 1.0 rating for WV/Baylor. ESPN same time drew a 2.7 for Oklahoma/Kansas St. Wouldn't exactly call that solid. The problem that FS1 has is they're always going to be going up against good to very good games. ESPN isn't giving them a break at all.

1.03 rating FS1 12:00 pm #4-Baylor at West Virginia
0.68 rating FS1 4:00 pm #15-Oklahoma State at #12-TCU
0.65 rating FS1 8:00 pm Washington at #9-Oregon

I think it's FS1 first game that they got over a 1.0. So, I would say it's solid! On par what ESPN2 and ESPNU put out. OSU/TCU & Wash/Oregon were blowouts.

The ratings over the last month and a half have been promising for FS1. Largely due to baseball. However, FS1's year over year growth is the largest of any television network this year. That's the really good news. I still think they needed to make a bid for the NBA. Random Pac-12 football games and UFC aren't going to cut it when there isn't basketball to watch.
