ESPN reporting Ellenson to Marquette. Dare I say, #donedeal? I'm so excited I can't feel my face.
Al McGuire: "What is this?"
Waiter: "Mr. McGuire, that is a cull lobster. Sometimes when the lobsters are in the tank, they fight. This one lost a claw."
Al McGuire: "Well then take this one away and bring me the winner."

"Heading into the 2015-16 season, Marquette will have a very talented team, and not one of the projected starters would be a senior. With the addition of Henry Ellenson on Thursday, the Golden Eagles now have a potential big time NBA player who likely starts from day one at the power forward position.

That is good as it is, but then consider that Indiana transfer, and former four-star recruit, Luke Fischer will be a junior at center, Deonte Burton will be a junior at small forward, and the backcourt will have a combination of four-star prospects such as Jajuan Johnson, Duane Wilson, Haanif Cheatham, and Nick Noskowiak, and it is easy to see why people are very excited with what Marquette is bringing to the table.

As if that isn’t enough, Marquette will only lose forward Steve Taylor for sure off of that team, and if Ellenson were to play two years of college basketball, would mean that the entire core of the team returns again in 2016-17 giving Marquette fans a lot to be excited about.
The talent will definitely be in place for Wojciechowski and his staff to be one of the best, if not the best team in the Big East and the country with the roster that has been assembled."

Food for thought. Wojo got 3 of the Top 5 players in Wisconsin (Ellenson #1, Nick Niskowiak #3, and Matt Heldt #5).

Not bad considering he's a guy with no head coaching experience, absolutely zero roots in the State of Wisconsin, has been actively recruiting these guys for only a few months, and Bucky went to the Final Four last year while MU didn't even make the NIT.

if Wojo can coach as well as he can recruit- the rest of the Big East is in deep trouble.... Wow, what a haul. Has to be a top 5 class...
