well you should never say never but i dont know why any of the P5 would want to add any non FB schools. Even in the unlikely event that some ACC schools join the B12 i think the ACC would just reload with FB programs that are already part of the fbs. They already have Virginia and Virginia Tech so they dont NEED georgetown, Temple could satisfy any need/desire they had with adding Villanova.

You can't look at this as a hoops fan. These alignment decisions are all about FB. Nova looked at upgrading to FBS years ago and it wasn't in the cards. That ship has sailed. If it had we probably would be sitting in the AAC right now. Ugh. Nova likes where it is and is not the least bit attractive to the ACC or any other p5 conf because of FB.

ha, that's a good point on 'Nova. Good call by them to not upgrade football. And that's before considering that by getting themselves stuck in the AAC, they'd almost certainly be gifting their spot in the Big East to their bitter rivals at St. Joe's.

The ACC could have a DC hole now quite frankly with Maryland gone. UVA and VT don't really fill that hole at all.
