I don't think Georgetown would have been in just with a win vs DePaul. 18-14(which is what the record would have been)- just doesn't get teams in the tourney any more. We would have needed a win vs Creighton to seal the deal.

If I recall correctly, G'Town was either THE last team out or very close to it. I think 18 would have gotten them in.

Heck, you could say that we came one SMU win over Houston in the AAC tourney from having Xavier being the last team in.
There is no guarantee at all that if Georgetown had gotten in that Xavier would still have gotten in. If Georgetown/SMU both win, very possible Xavier is out.
