The BIG EAST coverage on the @FOXTV broadcast network has increased to at least eight games all on weekends.

The Big East Garden games for St. John's will be Villanova, Marquette, Providence, Creighton, Xavier and Georgetown. Seton Hall, DePaul and Butler will be on campus.

I do find it interesting in the wording of the NYE marathon. It's not the annual NYE marathon, but rather just a repeat of the NYE marathon. This year with it going up against Orange and one of the access bowls- not that bad. Next year will be the tell tale year- going up agianst the fb semi-finals.

Just looking- one thing that is largely gone are the short turn-around games. For one- most of the weekend games are Saturday- and a lot fewer Monday games this year(only 4 Monday games)- along with fewer Thursday games(only 2- 1 DH in Jan).

Providence and Xavier are hosting a 2nd year in a row. St John's and Marquette are on the road for a 2nd straight year.

One thing- looking at Georgetown OOC home schedule-
only 3/7 games are being aired on FS1. Towson, Kansas, and Radford.

St Francis NY, Texas A&M- CC, Robert Morris, and Charlotte aren't getting on FS1. St Francis and Charlotte are on FSN, and the other 2 are on FS2. So it does look like some of the OOC games are getting moved off of broadcast this year...

(really shocked about Charlotte, who is supposed to be pretty good- thought that should be on pretty easily quite frankly, esp given how Fox has C-USA as well)

I like that every Athletic Department already has the 2014-15 schedule up on their websites. Except St. John's. Which as of 3:15pm still has last years up.
