Logic says DePaul is last, instinct says Seton Hall is 9th. DePaul has been at the bottom of the BE (and old BE) for about 10 years now. Hopefully they will catch a break. I have nothing against the hall but someone must be penultimate. My real interest, other than XU is how well Marquette will do with a new coach. Apparently they have had a good recruiting year. I hope we have at least one good team in the upper mid-west. Note; I do not count Nebraska as upper mid-west.

Can you explain? Most people expect Seton Hall to improve on their 8th place finish last year, perhaps significantly. I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just wondering what your reasoning is for expecting them to take a step backwards instead.

Well he put it in there. It's based on "instinct." Seton Hall hasn't had a memorable year in a long time now and both Butler and Creighton have had much bigger seasons than the Hall. I think he;s just saying he wants to see it happen before we start saying Seton Hall is going to the Dance.

DePaul actually wasn't terrible for a year actually got on the bubble but then I want to say it was Quentin Richardson left early and they fell right back into the cellar. He stays were talking about DePaul being in an entirely different situation.
