Each year would be different though.

I'd suggest that if you are planning to have afternoon games, it almost has to be on NYE. I don't think any of the schools would want a weekday game during holiday week and possibly have a half full arena because all the fans are at work.

personally I'd love to have it like this year 29th/30th. Do like a 7/9 on 29th and then 5/715/930 on 30th. yeah, the 5pm start game is tough on the 30th- but it is a holiday week. There would almost always be at least 1 poor matchup in there.

A lot of people have the week between Christmas and New Years off. If you play in major urban area like most of the conference does you'll have a lot of people who are off from work.

So a couple of the games don't sell out. There are plenty of people able to make it to the games over the holidays on a 29th, 30 or even a 2nd. Even, If they're working. You have to look at the big picture. If they do this year after year, sports fans will start to remember the BE marathon "around the New Years" Like, sports fans expect the Top NBA teams on XMas day.

What other major CBB conference could do this? Having all the teams and a network to facilitate? Make it a Holiday tradition!
