Verbal commitments are becoming a joke nationwide. I'm not keeping track, but it seems like a good 25% of the verbals retract. No one is forcing a HS student to verbally commit ahead of time, so why do it? Yeah, yeah, it puts the student at ease and it calls off the dogs. No it doesn't. The recruiting keeps on going until the LOI is signed.

Where did he play with Makinde? Not at Montverde. This is his first year there. But, I would sure like to see him go to X! My guess, is it will be a usual, blue blood.

Becoming more and more like hs football recruiting where a verbal will change 42 times before a player signs and then sometimes he even signs with a team he wasn't verbally committed to on signing day.
