...looking up for Marquette and Henry Ellenson.

Suddenly a rush to change predictions on 247 too.

from ESPN:
Strengths:
Ellenson is a wide bodied big with elite shooting skill, very good athletic ability and strength. He plays with confidence and can get on the roll and drop two or three 3's in a row before the defense knows what hit it. Ellenson is made for pick and pop situations with his quick trigger and ability to shoot over smaller defenders with ease. He also runs the floor well and has an excellent motor. Ellenson is also a good area rebounder as well.

Weaknesses:
Ellenson must continue to add to his game by continuing to build strength, hone his back to the basket moves and develop his perimeter ball skills in order to make plays off the dribble.

Bottom Line:
Ellenson is a strong and skilled power forward. His ability to shoot the ball with range and his athletic ability sets is what makes him special. Ellenson has tremendous upside.

Also from Nike Bigs and Ones Skills Academy:
No player has made a more dramatic climb up the rankings this spring than Ellenson, and he continued to show well this week. First, his energy level and motor stood out from the get-go and was a consistent factor in competition and skill work alike. While he can stretch opposing defenses to the arc, he was incredibly consistent in the 15- to 18-foot range, while also being active and effective around the rim and changing ends of the floor to be a true 3-range scoring threat.

Is it me, or does this sound like an old Duke type guy? Wonder if the Wojo angle is playing big here???

He's also apparently an extremely good high jumper(like championship level according to twitter) too so should boost Marquette's track and field as well.

He finished 2nd in the country last year in high jump. I was actually in his home town last weekend. My parents live there.
