A link with several other articles linked near the bottom.

FOX is probably pretty happy to get a game every two years for a national telecast to bring in ESPN viewers

Daryl Gross says no mandatory donations or 3 game packages if SU fans want to go to the Verizon Center. It was a sticking point in the deal.

That's never what happened. So don't expect things to change. You had to do those things to buy tickets before they went on sale to the public. Everyone was allowed to buy tickets once they went on public sale and it was not micky mouse at all. Georgetown managed to sell tickets to it's own fan base and fans gobbled up tickets before they went on public sale oh the injustice.

Why buy the cow (Big East) when you can get the milk (Hoya/Cuse rivalry) for free...HUGE victory for cuse.

Kudos to Cuse and GTown for getting this done. Conference realignment has destroyed many great rivalries. Hopefully this is the first of many rivalries that will be reunited.

And Just like the " There's a 10 year contract on Georgetown's Desk waiting to be signed" He's full of shit:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/dc-sports-bog/wp/2014/06/12/heres-how-georgetown-will-handle-ticketing-for-home-games-with-syracuse/

I reached out to the Georgetown athletics department for a comment on how tickets will be handled for Syracuse games in the future.

“As is standard in agreements such as these, the visiting team will receive an allotment of tickets and the home team will control the sale and distribution of all remaining tickets,” a Georgetown spokesman said via e-mail. “The visiting team and home team are free to sell/distribute their ticket allotments as they choose. Georgetown Athletics plans to continue its practice of providing priority access for tickets to those who buy multi-game plans or who support Georgetown Athletics.”

anyone who says that g-town shouldn't be playing 'cuse out of spite for leaving the old big east is off their rocker.

Yeah and anyone who thinks cuse isn't doing this for its own benefit, according to its own survival plan & as a competitor is delusional & is severely underestimating what lengths that program will go to to maintain its northeastern & BE ties.

@SUinNYC #SUYankeeDay has begun!
@TinaCasella: On our way to @SUinNYC for #SUYankeeDay - five busses from Syracuse!

It may be good for the Hoyas, how good it is for the BE is tbd but I'm sure the Big East would be just fine without this series. Tired of people acting like cuse made this move for bball. It wasn't it was for fball, which means the bball side is scrambling to make this work and I don't blame them.
