Honestly don't know much about the Hoyas for 14-15.

The only seemingly sure things are top 5 kids nationally. IW was 25 or 30 I think...there's no guarantee. They are bringing in freshmen...SJ had a ton of the top freshmen in 2012 and look how that worked out. Seton Hall is far from a contender until they prove it. Also, you give PC way too much credit. Cotton took the team on his back scoring 30 each game. They have no one else like that.
Great logic: My program has underachieved since 2012 therefore your program is going to be just as inept. Underachieving isn't necessarily contagious within a conference. SJHooper your pathetic attempts at trying to belittle SHU's future is similar to the story about the boy trying to plug the damn with his fingers & toes, your argument is falling apart. Seton Hall is on the rise whether you can admit it or not. However it is quite enjoyable watching all the haters from SJU such as yourself continue to have these public tantrums.

I'm just being honest. Even at their absolute peak like 4 years ago when they were ranked and had Theodore, SHU never came onto the national scene. There were no sexy major wins.

Not the same situation, but even with the most talented players from high school, Kentucky, at least in its first year always takes awhile to get going. No matter how talented the pieces are, there's a lot to adjust to for a freshman, and you combine that with learning the new team's system and how his teammates work within it? It can be tough.
I think if Seton Hall's entire class (especially Whitehead) stick around for multiple years, there's a much higher probability for overall success. I do think that by the end of this coming season that Seton Hall could be a team that is very dangerous, but with all the young talent coming into the Big East this year, I think you could possibly say that about a lot of programs in the conference.
Long-term, I do wonder somewhat about the viability of hiring assistants based on their relationships with one or two prospects, but if Willard can turn it into something to where he's not having to turn over guys on his staff every couple of years, then I think this risk can be worth it.

NJRedman wrote:The logic is you haven't done anything yet, so acting like you are now the class of the league or at least the top half of the league is a joke. Your program already is inept and needs to prove on the court that it no longer is inept. Your head coach was about to be fired until he pulled some recruits out of his ass using possibly shady tactics. If he was such a good recruiter why wasn't he getting this level of player prior to this recruiting cycle? Only now when he is about to be fired?
Anywho, you can continue to have these public tantrums anytime anyone questions Seton Hall. We're still going to beat you and you're still going to be the scrubs of the league. Hey at least you'll be above DePaul!

If you had a program you were proud of I'm sure you wouldn't be so annoyed by what's going on in Jersey, but you don't. Anyway who cares what SJU fans think about Seton Hall lol.
NJRedman wrote:If you had a school that wasn't the Websters definition of useless you wouldn't be so douchy. Seriously, you guys are lucky you got in when you did. You could be in the A-10 right now begging to get in the Big East.
Seton Hall sponsors 6...SIX mens sports and 8 womens sports. They finish close to last place in almost every sport every year. Useless in every possible aspect.
