Question: what is your series record against them?

Request: beat them into submission.

This is great news. I hope that Marquette manages something similar with either Notre Dame or Louisville. Our rivalry with Notre Dame goes back to the Al McGuire/Digger Phelps days, and both have strong alumni bases in Chicago. I think an annual ND/MU rivalry at the United Center would easily get a lot of fans there, and ensure that each school has a game in the city. That's from a selfish standpoint, I might add.

Louisville was another big rivalry of ours - dating back to our C-USA days. A LOT of our games literally went down to the final shot/possession. They were really fun games. Again, this is from a selfish standpoint.

this is good for g-town, the big east and college b-ball in general...

anyone who says that g-town shouldn't be playing 'cuse out of spite for leaving the old big east is off their rocker.

Nice! We need to keep the G'Town/Nova/SJU vs. Cuse rivalries going. I'm still pissed we lost by 5 points to them when they were #2 in the country. I would have stormed the court and gotten arrested for that. Almost got into a fight with so many Cuse fans. Good times.

We are 41-49 against Syracuse all time. 35-38 since the founding of the BE, 7-10 under JT3.

I believe the series is currently 49-41 with Cuse having the advantage. I could be wrong, information isn't super easy to find.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
