The basketball team for my alma mater, Appalachian State, will be banned from the postseason due to a 922 four-year APR score. Not that theyd have made any postseason for a few years, anyway, until our imoressive new coach gets his system and recruits i.to place, but it's an embarrassment.

Glad for the Big East to have all 10 schools successful in APR scores.

Providence four year average is 928 and the two year average of is 931. Will Providence retain eligibility for the next NCAA tourney?

You aren't reading the figures correctly. The numbers shown there are the multi-year numbers. Providence's multi-year is 947. They are fine.

Ed Cooley has done an incredible job with the friars since he arrived on scene. Both on the court and in the classroom Cooley demands accountability. Cooley wants his players sitting front and center in the classroom and routinly shows up to classes to make sure they do. Its amazing to see the friars involved with so many high level recruits for the next three and four years. Cooley and staff are not afraid to go up against the big time programs in chasing players all across the country. Time will tell how they make out but I'm sure they will get their fair share. As friar fans we are blessed to have this man leading the program back to respectability.
