Me thinks the reports of Hibbert's demise may have been a bit premature.

So now him being terrible didn't happen? I never get that. He sucked. People called him out for sucking. He got better. People stop calling him out. /end

Seems pretty obvious except when you factor in the need for people to thump their chest and be right all the time no matter what.

People acted like he always sucked and would always instead of just being in a slump. People were calling out his entire career saying he was a bust and the equivalent of kwamee brown. ( that was a direct comparison I saw on Facebook)

1) I think people were a little over the top in jumping on him to the extent that he was jumped on.

2) People talked shit and then he shut them up by proving them wrong, but they didn't apologize or admit they were wrong. I'm not allowed to talk shit to the haters?

3) No it doesn't mean he wasn't bad for the first 6 games of the Atlanta Series and the 1st game of the Wizard's series, but it means that those games don't define him as a player. There's a difference between saying Roy Hibbert is sucking right now and saying Roy Hibbert Sucks. The first was accurate. The second was not.

That's fine but I just don't get the need to come back later and say "WHAT'S UP NOW?" Haters gonna hate. Hibbert played better. /end

After tonight you can say he has been consistently inconsistent. I don't think he is a bust, but I also don't think he is worth the max contract they are giving him. If they can make the finals, I will reconsider his contract value.

What about Allen Iverson (Georgetown) or Mark Aguirre (DePaul before they joined the Big East) or Dwyane Wade (Marquette before they joined the Big East) or Earl the Pearl
