Kamari Murphy transferring from OK State. From Brooklyn, apparently has a sick grandmother and wants to be closer to home. Played for Tiny Morton and with Whitehead. 6 boards a game and shot over 50% for a NCAA tourney team. Apparently no list at this time but I bet SHU and SJU would be involved. Could apply for waiver.

Former NYC high schooler Jermaine Lawrence is leaving Cincy. Gotta be a BE target.

"Lawrence struggled to find his way as a freshman. A top 25 recruit coming out of high school, Lawrence averaged only 2.8 points and 2.9 rebounds this past season. He missed eight games due to a turf toe injury that slowed his development and had a difficult time staying out of foul trouble."

@AdamZagoria: Jermaine Lawrence has a huge upside..it will be interesting to see where he lands. Johnnies were in the mix 1st time around.

@JonRothstein: Here at Cincinnati. To reiterate what @tsnmike reported earlier, Bearcats' staff has yet to hear from Jermaine Lawrence about transferring.

Do the Friars have a scholarship available? Despite what people say about Tharpe, he greatly improved in his time at Kansas and would be a great get for Cooley.

Yes, PC has a scholarship available. They were hoping to land Larry Austin but Xavier won that one.

Cooley would like to add another guard who can handle the ball.

This is random but not worth starting a new topic for. PC fans will get a kick out of this. I was rushing to leave for work this morning and couldn't find a water bottle, so I had to settle for this

‏@AdamZagoria: Georgia Tech transfer Robert Carter will visit #sjubb in the near future, source confirms to @SNYtv.

No way to overstate how big this visit & this player is...would likely be preseason 1st team all-ACC next year. Great job by Lavs getting him on campus...if it happens.

Cal 5th year transfer Ricky Kreklow has been on campus to visit Creighton. Probably unlikely that he ends up in Omaha as we don't have a scholarship available, but our history with senior walkons is pretty good.
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.
