Butler and Creighton have now gotten involved in pursuit of UNCG transfer Tevon Saddler

Tevon Saddler won the So Con Freshman of the Year award.

Saddler isn't very good though finishing the year with a 85.1 ORat, playing 67% of minutes. He was literally one of the least efficient players in the country, mostly due to his 9.1% 3PFG% and 25.4% TO%.

For some reason this doesn't really surprise me. Still wish he had stayed though. Mean's we'll probably start a freshmen next year.

Wow, that one will hurt. He had a pretty nice second half of the season. Any guess why he is leaving?

Not sure on a reason, but he's put in 4 years at Xavier and will get his degree, so he'll be able to transfer and play right away next year.

He had some good games and some terrible games. Not sure how he can improve starting somewhere else with a new system but good luck. He still needs two classes to graduate and play right away. Guess we're back in the transfer market @ +1 opening.

Not sure how long that opening will be there. I think Ronnie Johnson is a good possibility to fill it. Also getting involved with Jon Horford I think.

Justin Martin leaving Xavier doesn't mean a freshmen is likely to start at SF - Remy Abell (the Indiana transfer who sat out this year) will likely jump in…. Mack doesn't start freshmen often, but we'll see. Highly touted Trevon Blueitt would be the most likely freshmen starter, based on recruiting rankings anyway.

But I digress from the main point of this thread.
