Let the Transfer Season Begin

I read in a couple of places that Tyler Lewis is visiting Butler this week. Lewis is looking to transfer from NC State. Would be a nice add for the Dawgs.

Yup, multiple reports saying Lewis is on campus now. Would be a great get for Miller and Butler.

IU transfer Austin Etherington is coming to visit Saturday. He is also visiting New Mexico and Missouri State. His Dad played for the Bulldogs in the 1980's. He is a 6'6" wing that can shoot. As he is graduating next month, he is immediately eligible and has two years left. I'd take him.

That would be solid pickup too. Is he 100% going to be immediately eligible? I could have swore I read on the IndyStars article he would have to sit out a year but could easily be wrong

As expected Stephen Domingo is transferring from Georgetown. Came in with the reputation as a shooter, but has not been able to shoot since getting here. Don't know if it's confidence or what. Apparently going to be looking at Washington and Harvard the other schools he was looking at. He Matriculated a year early to Georgetown. Looks like that was a mistake in hindsight. He was not ready. Was supposed to be a great shooter but only hit 3/27 in his Georgetown career.

Yes and as he had a medical redshirt, he has only burned two years of eligibility. So he would fit in a unique window of a two year graduate student. Perhaps he will have a Masters and a PhD by the time he graduates?

Isn't it interesting that some student athletes can graduate in three years and some cannot get a degree in five?

Apparently, nobody wants to stay @ IU for 4 yrs. Back to rebuilding.
