First, use your big boy words. You sound like an idiot.

Second, tell me anywhere, where ANYONE in authority in the Big East is saying that they want to expand. It's a pipe dream for teams on the outside looking in, and until the Big East says that expansion is on the horizon, it's not a factor. A Big East round robin is truly a great scenario for basketball. To expand further just waters down the product.

Posts like this is why no one reads PMTHOR. Back a year ago when all of this started Dayton and Saint Louis were always candidates and were even reported by ESPN to join in 2014. Whether or not that is still happening or not is anyone's guess especially since the BE can't get its own sh*! together to hire a staff and have a permanent office. I do believe St. Louis and Dayton will join within the next three years; just too much money on the table. Hopefully for Xavier's sake Dayton doesn't pull them down off their elite high horse.

P.S. I wouldn't get on anyone for using big boy words. Your font is purple; my two year old daughter's favorite color. Congratulations on your big boy font choice.

My 2 year old grand daughter - for whom I do full time day care - has also chosen purple as her favorite color. It must be a 2 year old thing. :D

Can we officially give BEX some trolling flair or something? He is making Xavier fans look like idiots. Maybe PMThor as well.

You have accused practically everyone on the board of being a troll, so guess we're in good company.

UConn is more focused on football than basketball.
UConn will fade due to losing Calhoun and hiring Ollie.

Congrats Huskies. You should have been one of the 10 this year. You should be our 11th next year. Basketball first.

Apparently, Gonzaga's AD was waiting for an invite last year:

2. As we head into the The Summer of Conference Realignment, Part 2: One Year Later, it’s becoming clearer that GU isn’t going anywhere.
But Roth says it’s not his fault. When the Big East Conference reformed in July 2013, he had GU Athletics ready to move to the new Big East along with the other “Catholic Seven” schools. He recognized that GU would be a perfect fit in every way with the other private, Catholic, similar-size, liberal arts schools from that conference.
One single problem threw a wrench in the gears: geography. As much as a program can request to join a conference, it eventually has to be invited by the conference, Roth said. Unfortunately for GU, the Big East programs were not willing to fly their sports teams five or six hours to Spokane dozens of times every year, even if Roth was.
Roth says he likes to say that the only way GU would be accepted into the Big East is if teleportation is invented.
Anytime teleportation enters a discussion of conference realignment, things aren’t looking good.
And with a lack of a football team and no foreseeable way GU could re-establish its football program, don’t expect the Pac-12 to come calling, either.
For now, GU looks to be stuck in the ho-hum WCC. While it won’t do us any favors in terms of men’s or women’s basketball, at least the Zags won’t be constantly flying to the Northeast for every away game. That might qualify as low-level silver lining.

Wow that's so frustrating and shows how incompetent the Big East leadership is. We sure as hell could use a school like gonzaga. Imagine adding gonzaga and vcu. It won't happen because our leadership is garbage, but we'd become a force. Nobody would compare us to a10 again.

It's not the fault of the Big East leadership that Marquette, Georgetown and St. John's put out a mediocre product this past year.

I'd like to see the Big East schools schedule some OOC games with Gonzaga.
