I saw our Lake Central Recruit Tyler Wideman last night. He is a wide body that can score, but like many HS hoopers, didn't play a lick of defense. That can be taught at the next level, but it might take him a year or two to figure it out. He literally needed a punch to the face to get his motor started last night, but once he caught one in the kisser, he was awesome offensively. Arsenal Tech, with 6'10" KY recruit Trey Lyles, outlasted Lake Central in the state championship game 63-59. Wideman wasn't on Lyles. Wideman went for 19/12.

I've heard some really great things about Lyles, so playing him close isn't a bad thing by any means.
Are you the one updating STL on Elliott Welmer?

PC mentioned as a possibility. PC really needs a PG as we only have Dunn coming back and he has had major shoulder issues.
