Attendance will be fine. Syracuse and Duke fans are not going to the Big East tourney anyway. NYC can handle two at a time. And I will bet that attendance will not be as good at Barclays as some might think. Cuse, Duke and ND will bring fans. Maybe Pitt. Louisville had terrible attendance at the Big East tourney and they won it three times.

I wish I could be as confident as you. If the Big East tournament averages 14,500 per session as it did this year, and the ACC comes to town and sells out, it will cast the Big East in second tier status.

There are many people in The City who attend the Big East tournament who have no connection with any of the schools. They're just rabid college basketball fans. They are the swing voters. If they opt for the ACC tournament, it will hurt Big East attendance.

How are tickets sold for the Big East tournament?

Referencing the 14,500 number...is that tickets sold per game or per session? I think the ACC played their final on Sunday, so if the Big East plays theirs on Saturday night, fans can go to both games.

Those are the attendance numbers that were reported for each session by the media.

Thanks. See, I don't always argue with you. :)
