Really frustrating loss yesterday. Not because I care about the NIT but rather our lack of effort. Just sad knowing how much time and money I invested on the team this season. Losing this way is unacceptable. If they don't care why should I?

Just an embarrassing and frustrating end to a miserable season. This team just doesn't seem to hate losing as much as they should. Can't believe I actually thought they would be a top twenty team before the season began. Talk about being dead wrong.

I know Seton Hall played in Walsh Gym for the NIT a few years ago.

2009 when I was a student 2005-2009 we played 1 OOC game a year at McDonough and it's always awesome. Wish we would do it, but JT3 said after the game that due to financial constraints we can't afford to do it anymore. They also had a NIT game there in 2004-2005 season that I attended. They put in some extra bleachers for that game and said screw the fire marshall and had people standing in the isles it was incredible. Wish they would play there more often or were able to build a propper 7-10,000 on seat arena. We'd have such a better atmosphere. But that will never happen.

Hoya Hooligan, I spent a semester in DC in college, but I'm curious to hear it from a GTown fan. Obviously Georgetown has issues with an off-campus arena and Washington traffic which may inhibit their student body from attending games in large numbers, but to what extent do you think the fact that Georgetown is not on any Metro Line affects their attendance? The closest Metro Stop to campus is Rosslyn, a mile away across the state line in Virginia, and the closest Metro Line that actually goes to Gallery Place/Chinatown is DuPont Circle, a mile and a half away from campus. My understanding is the reason Georgetown is not on any Metro line is because back in the 1960s when the Metro was being built, Washington, like many large cities was going through a period of racial unrest, and the residents of the area didn't want, erm, "other" people being able to have easy, cheap access to the well-to-do neighborhood. With no viable public transit option for students to cheaply and quickly take games to, that would appear to put students attending games at the mercy of DC traffic either in cars or shuttle buses.
Al McGuire: "What is this?"
Waiter: "Mr. McGuire, that is a cull lobster. Sometimes when the lobsters are in the tank, they fight. This one lost a claw."
Al McGuire: "Well then take this one away and bring me the winner."

Did they say Clemson is 11-0 at home in NIT games?
