Dayton Finally Gets It's NCAA Success

Can any of our new Big East brethren grasp now why UD is such an amazingly, irritating, obnoxious, delusional thorn/rash in X fans sides that refuses to just go away.

Bottom line: UD has not accomplished anything near to what would merit an invite......period. They are a middle tier A10 program that happened to make a nice run this year.......make the tournament seven of the next ten years, win a few games, and then this can possibly be revisited. Xu dash is nice enough to put together an organized, well thought out post that hits on the REAL issues.....the issues and points that UD fans fail to see, or most likely, don't want to acknowledge.

These fans are coming out in droves over a team that finished sixth in a mid major conference, won games during the season they shouldn't have, was part of the last four into the tourney, won a game on a last second shot in the first round, and beat a team that didn't hit a three the entire game.

Why are UD fans on here anyways? Seriously? I can understand a few X fans on the A10 board as we were a part of that league for many years. Dayton fans on here reek of desperation. Richmond and Slu fans post from time to time, but they bring solid conversation with substantive info and talking points.

The thing is, I really like every team in our conference, and their fans. Of course there will be some trash talking and "heated discourse", yet, granted its just been a year. A sixth place team does not spout ridiculous delusions of grandeur, grandeur that is undeserved. UD acts like what Georgetown fans COULD act like. They had a dissapointing year for their standards, yet they don't bitch and moan on message boards ad nauseum(sorry to GTown fans to put you in the same sentence with UD). Marquette is in the same boat. I digress though.

And concerning your Roger Ailes comment. It would seem you are anti capitalism, anti small government, anti small business/entrepreneurs. All in all, with that comment, you really have no idea what the hell you are talking about. And I can say that due to my experience as a small business owner. Bring your leftist political views into this and you will lose badly.
