I want to say again that I'm so glad the Jays competed well in their first year in the Big East. There was uncertainty with this knew challenge by fans, coaches, players, and the Jays found a way to be successful for which I am grateful. know a lot of people think the sky is falling on this league but it is in transition. It will be among the elites again. Yes Creighton will need to step up their recruitment of athletes, and I have no doubt they will rise to the challenge. Also I want to say that this board has been so much fun this year reading and posting with you guys, much better than the one for the Missouri Valley. Thank you Admin for running a great forum.

Ok, I saw Baylor in Maui Classic; they looked really good, top ten type. Then I watched them during their 2-8 run midway and they looked awful, not top 50. then saw them in Big 12 tournament looked good, top 25 again. Tonight was just one of those nights where no one and I do mean no one would have beaten them. It happens, can they sustain it; only time will tell. Anyways my brackets are busted big time. And oh at least my Bruins are advancing. Not the end of the season the BE was hoping for, but its just your first year. As someone said, regroup and bring it next year. The conference is solid. Will be rooting for all non bcs schools, cept my Bruins. Overall it was a great first season for the BE.

Rough game for Creighton but hey, it happens guys. Look at Cuse and Duke. It happens. No reason to hang your heads you guys had a great season and you helped restore credibility to the conference while the traditional powers were mostly down. You got to watch a top 25 team almost all year and you made the tournament. For 99% of fan bases that is a very elusive thing that does not happen often. Use this game to build for the future. You guys need athletes (never thought I'd say that as a SJ fan because we have only athletes and look how we turned out). Doug seems like a good guy and it was an honor watching him this year. You guys will be fine…it may take a year to reload, but Creighton is all in for their basketball team. Just keep rooting them on and packing the place.

This was only your first year in major hoops. You guys are here now. You have arrived. At the end of the day you guys are still a major team and WSU is not! Just enjoy the ride it has only begun for you guys.
