I know there are a lot of folks who do not like Dayton on this board but I have to give them props for that victory. The question now becomes, if they make a Final Four run this year will they now be the front runner?

And now they get to sit there and watch one of their old Big East rivals advance to the Sweet 16. Beautiful. More beautiful if it's Nova obviously. But still pretty damned beautiful either way.

Another stellar NCAA Tournament showing for the mighty ACC.

I like Dayton, just some of their fans are bad. Still was fun to watch, Go Dayton!

I still don't think expansion happens in the next few years. If they go to the final four this year, I'd imagine they couldn't fall off the face of the earth in the next few years. To get to a final four they have potential match ups with Kansas and Florida waiting as well, so we'll see what happens. It was a great win for them today, even if it was ugly to watch. I haven't seen much of Syracuse this year, but it's hard to believe they were a 3 seed after watching that game and seeing how much they were losing at the end of the year.

I just don't understand why Ennis didn't go for two instead of going for the win when you were 0-for-9 from three point land... ending 0-for-10 with that shot... 'Cuse has just offensively fallen apart the last few weeks - not sure what happened, they just weren't mentally into it.

Ugly win but I'll take it. This young group plays hard. I'm sure xu fans will say the case are over rated and no good. Still a good win for program

I don't know if people don't like Dayton so much as a lot of their fans turn people off. Nobody really has had much experience with the school/team outside of Xavier fans. We have had a recent influx of UD posters who seem pretty cool. I'm trying to figure out if the crazy ones have been keeping them locked in a dungeon somewhere and they all escaped at once or something.

Congrats to UD fans (specifically ruechalgrin, augcash, udearl, and mtkc12, you guys are class. sorry if I forgot any). Here's hoping you keep it rolling.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Great job Dayton. On behalf of your neighboring state to the West, good luck next week in the Sweet 16. I think the majority of the Big East fans are on your side. Nice games against two BCS mainstay programs. You have a nice young team and are going to be solid for the next few years.
