nex mexico down 8 early. San Diego St struggled last night with New Mexico St. MWC repping as normal.... That's the huge difference between A10 and MWC I think- A10 actually shows up in the tourney.

really only 2 decent teams in that mix.

UMass last 7- 4-3 but losses to 3 tourney teams(Dayton, SLU, GW), and win over VCU in the mix.

If UMass couldn't beat tourney teams in their own conference, why should anyone think they can beat a tourney team in the actual tournament? And who did UMass beat in those 4 wins?

URI twice
Duquesne
VCU

Am I supposed to be more impressed with wins over URI and Duquesne than wins over the SEC slugs? The VCU of course is impressive, but that was a month ago before they began their skid, and it was a close game where home court advantage helped. Missouri and Iowa are actually wins over good teams and both came within the past 2 weeks. The Missouri win was a blow out and the Iowa win came on a neutral court in the tournament. I'm much more impressed with those than a 5 point win at home over VCU a month ago.
