And I did note that you seem to not like SJHooper, as you were telling him to shut up in this thread and I'm pretty sure you have before on previous occasions (Might want to avoid "shut up" as your go-to comeback, by the way, just to ensure you don't get compared to the average 10-year-old that thinks he's clever). SJHooper is the ultimate embarrassment to your fanbase, so I can understand being annoyed by him and wanting him to be quiet due to his association with your program (since everyone else is laughing at him).

Good article. I really dug seeing the Blue Jays faithful really embrace the new traditions and the new venue. I hope that excitement level stays and possibly even grow in the coming years!

People who are blunt, honest, non-PC, don't sugar coat, and don't care what others think are usually hated this day in age, so I don't mind. Just because my posts make some fans angry doesn't mean they aren't right. I admit I may come off as blunt, but forums are places where differing opinions are intended to be welcomed. Don't get pissy about my style, but rather challenge the content of my posts. That's what men do. That's more constructive than posting memes cussing someone out (and going totally unnoticed because it wasn't by an SJU fan).

I really like PC and I'm glad a C-7 school won. They deserved it. They lost a TON this year and still won it all. It's a great story. With that said, unfortunately they did not make national headlines or get any buzz outside of the Big East for doing so. Don't kill the messenger, but the conference would have gotten much more hype and clout had G'Town, Marquette, SJ, Nova, Creighton, or even Xavier won. I think it's stupid that this is the case, but it's true nonetheless. Again I'm very proud of PC...I have family members who went there and almost went there myself so I know how good the school is academically as well, but the Big East will not be a national name again if PC/Seton Hall/DePaul are beating the bigger name schools. PC is a very very tiny school in a very very tiny state in a very very tiny market. The big dogs of this conference need to get their act together and fast.

In the same way that baseball is watched more and much more hyped when the Yankees, Red Sox, Phillies, Dodgers, etc. are good the Big East is watched more and much more hyped when the above mentioned teams are winning conference tourneys and making NCAA runs.

In this day and time especially with the one and done; as the article stated it will be about top notch players; if a school got a top notch player(s) people will tune in to see them play; plain and simple.

Point being if what you call the lower schools have those players people will watch
