I'll tell you one thing- if I'm Buzz Williams and Marquette, I'm doing a big time sell job right now. 3 wins now isn't anywhere near as tough as it was about 3 hours ago.

Bingo. At worst, you're looking at a path to the tournament of Xavier, Creighton, Providence/St. John's. At best, it could be Xavier, DePaul, Seton Hall.

What a crazy game. The Garden still has its magic. Welcome to March.

I told my Marquette buddy this morning that VU could lose to SHU today. I take nothing for granted in the BET. When teams are playing for their lives it changes everything. Seton Hall played really, really well today, kudos to them. They executed well and more importantly, didn't get rattled when VU when on a 16-0 run. I am bummed that Villanova lost, I wanted to see a VU rematch with Creighton so there was a chance to remove that question that has plagued Villanova lately. Won't happen - hopefully VU can keep a 2 seed. More importantly, I hope VU has gotten their inevitable bad game out of their system.

I am now rooting for Marquette (father, mother, sister, and several other relatives are all MU grads) to win the tournament and get another BE team in the tournament.

Had a pretty long post I thought I sent an hour ago, not sure what happened to it.

Seton Hall continues its quest to ruin the Big East. Cost the league 1-2 bids. Cost Villanova a 1 seed likely. Shoot, they didn't get the memo that once you become a RPI sub-100 team in the non-conference, you're supposed to just lay down!

Great win for Hall. Nova shot itself in the foot from the line and with its upperclassmen not being able to hit shots. Have been relatively impressed with Seton Hall in most of Big East play. Now they're 2 games from an NCAA bid themselves.

I'm a SHU guy and I was rooting for Nova - Creighton final. Sometimes a bad loss is the best thing that can happen to a great team before the NCAA. Lets hope the other top 4 lose early in their tournaments.

Villanova has been absolutely begging to be upset all year and they escaped every time. They won every OT game. This game was months overdue. I said before Nova was overrated and I still think they are. This is not a top 3 team, a top 5 team, or even a top 10 team. It's more like 15-17.
