St Joe's loses at home on Sr night to LaSalle today. Yeah, they're worthy of a bid. Ugh.

As a UD alum I can tell you now that the vast majority of the UD community including the long time radio announcers do not, repeat do not want to be added to the BE. I only came to that same conclusion myself in the past few weeks. The reason most listed is the connection to Fox (Fox news Fox Sport et al), and the arrogant nature of the league in general. The A10 is now a top tier all basketball league. The BE now has proven to be a mid tier league. Easy decision to stay with A10

The A-10 as a whole went 4-9 on Senior Day/Nights. Now I know why 1 and Dones are so important.

X was swept by sh, GT was beat by northeastern, they're worthy of a bid. One game does not make a season or these teams wouldn't be sitting on the bubble as well. Everyone on the bubble is their bc they have bad losses

This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

I do find it interesting that other than an couple of Billikens fans, it seems most fans of teams that aren't in the BE (but would like to be) choose user names on here that won't identify them with their fanbase. Wait, I think I saw a Flyer notation on one, but it's a short list.

Just an observation.

Look I'm a flyer fan and would love for them to get a invite. But I'm not on here bashing ppl or schools I just think that rivalry between Dayton and xu would be great for big east

G'twn beat VCU, Mich State and Creighton. XU beat Creighton and Cincy. St joes lost to Temple who is comparable to Northeastern. St Joes benefitted from an unbalanced A10 schedule (played GW, VCU and STL once and 2 of those at home.) Best OOC win is home vs Boston U. Realistically how many losses would they have in the BE had they been invited instead of Butler. I would guess at absolute best 8, prob more like 6-7. They lost at home to both Creighton and Nova this year. No way they'd win @ either of those. At best they'd split with SJU, G'twn, PC, X, Marq, SHU and swept DeP (prob not likely though). With no good OOC wins and a loss to Temple they wouldnt even be a bubble team. They simply are not very good. They are what is wrong with the RPI formula.

The rivalry is very unhealthy and both sides could use a break for a few years.
