Through the 2010-11 season, Dayton leads the all-time series 81-69. The longest streak in the Atlantic 10 belongs to both Xavier and Dayton for 150 meetings between the two. Starting in the 2013–14 season, the matchup is once again a non-conference rivalry, after Xavier left the A10 to become a founding member of the current Big East Conference.

I'm going on record as admitting that it was me that brought them up in passing, after mentioning that UC is Xavier's biggest non-con rival. I'll try not to bring UD up again on this board, but they are an easy target.

STFU: Xavier has dominated the series for years by going 22-8 since 2001.

UD does not belong on the same court as Xavier, because it doesn't belong in the same conference with Xavier. Spend the next 3 to 4 years making the Dance and going deep in it and do that hanging onto Archie Miller and THEN UD will warrant some consideration - some consideration, because the Dayton media market isn't worth crap - for being included in the Big East.

Looks to me that Dayton is Xavier's most hated rival, with all the venom spewed out in this thread. That's what I call a RIVALRY.
