That game was already played back on January 11th and Villanova won. If the Villanova and St. John's play again during the BET, it wouldn't surprise me if SJU were to win. SJU is a good team but they're not a great team. But they are good enough to beat anyone in the Big East on any given day. Almost the same thing can be said of the top 7-8 Big East teams. SJU also needs a marquis win waaaaaaaaaaay more than Villanova needs to beat SJU for the third time. Some teams are desperate this time of the year and are playing for their their NCAA tournament life. PC, SJU, and to some extent Marquette are all in this boat.

It wouldn't surprise me to see VU drop a game to either Xavier or Georgetown this week. I would prefer it didn't happen but it wouldn't surprise me. The Georgetown game in particular could be lost because it is downtown and it is during spring break. The crowd may not be very big or very vocal.

Crowd support isn't the only thing that makes up the home court advantage. It's also familiarity. It's the fact that the home team doesn't have to travel and are not living out of a suitcase.

Not Providence. Except for one and done in March, they haven't played a regular season game there in almost 10 years. Seton Hall hasn't been a regular there either. One regular season game there in the past 3 years, which is pretty much the history of the current players.

Even for Villanova and Georgetown who have played more games in March, that's simply not the same as playing there 10-12 games a year. With no home and home in the old Big East they normally came to town once every 2 years. So, no, they haven't been playing there 1-3 times per year.

Home court advantage is home court advantage. Even NBA teams whose opponents come to town multiple times per year don't lose hoe court advantage when their opponents have increased exposure to the court. It's reflected in their records.
