I'd love to see the ratings for NASCAR practices. They also have a contract with the Big East to televise their games. It comes down to knowing how to schedule. Why start the Gtown game so early if they might have a run over? Why not start the game at noon? Why have a 7 pm game then a 9 pm game? Why not have a 6:30 game and a 9:00 game? Why did this game have to start at 11:30?

You've seen the same stats I have. Auto Racing is the 4th most popular viewing sport in America. College basketball is 7th. And the next NASCAR race I watch will be my first. I don't like it and don't watch it.

Creighton vs. Marquette topped the ratings for Big East basketball last week at 174K (0.1 rating). Every Big East game last week got atleast 100K viewers and a 0.1 rating.

I think in terms of scheduling for next season Fox should consider putting a half hour between Big East games instead of back to back. That way if there is a run over at least between games there's no broadcasting issue. In between they could do a post/game - pre/game show. That could be tough for the Tuesday night games since they start at 7:00 and 9:00 but it can certainly be done on the weekends. Or you can save that 9:30 start time for our central time zone schools.
