Nice win for the Bluejays. It's always hard to win on the road, but especially in Milwaukee. Too bad the refs called every bump in the second half. It would have been fun to see these two teams go play without all the stops in play. Overall, a good win and another amazing effort by McDermott.

It's a rough season for us and college kids don't always keep their cool when things aren't going their way. There were a lot of Jays fans in the crowd, hopefully you guys had generally positive experiences despite the hostility from the student section.

Yeah. That was the loudest crowd noise I can recall ever on my TV. I thought it provided great theater for anyone checking out the Big East tonight. I know we have a lot of senior leadership and they should be expected to handle it. But with that crowd and the wackiness of the way the game was called, I was wondering how our guys could keep their poise. Even though we were ahead a good deal of the game, it felt like we were playing through adversity. Great game atmosphere.

They were chanting "Automatic" every time Gardner is at the line. It was not overrated.

I've reached the point where I'm cheering for embarrassing losses so that the school is left with no choice but to replace Purnell at the end of the year.

speaking of DePaul, is this Purnell's final few weeks at DePaul? I think they really need to think hard about that. I think the season they are having with how different the Big East is this year probably is the final nail in the coffin.

Well... it would be in most places.

I can think of roughly 6.5 million reasons why they'd bring him back for a fifth year, though.

MCDermott was incredible, but I thought Wragge was spectacular on defense and he delivered beyond the arc. The atmosphere was lively and MU deserves credit for playing a tough game.

It looked like Marquette was gonna bulldoze Creighton at the beginning of the game. You could tell they were totally juiced. The fact that the Jays were hot from three early made the difference in terms of shifting control IMO. Also all the missed free throws by Marquette were damaging. Great game, Marquette has some grown men on that team for sure. Still think they will be in the mix.

That makes much more sense. Watching in the big chair at home it sounded like overrated and I couldn't for the life of me figure out why.

Marquette,

Thanks for the sentiment, but I'm sorry to tell you that I was extremely disappointed with Marquette, your team and fans (and the griping on this thread--we shot 62 percent and actually played the game of BASKETBALL, not football you freak no-flop-metal-plate heads). Thought our Jebbie bros would be a lot classier. My favorite moment was when Austin Chatman dropped a DAGGER that sent the drunk boo-birds to the exits. Grant Gibbs' bloody fat lip and our banged up Men won't forget that hostility any time soon.

NO injuries. A WIN. Goodbye.

How do you get Jebbie from Jesuit?

I almost always prefer watching from home. 1) I get great commentary 2) I can focus on the game (crowds phase me I guess)

MU fans, don't pay attention to whiteandblue77. That doesn't reflect the sentiment of our fanbase.

TONS of respect for the MU program, Buzz and the University. The Bradley Center is a tough place to play, and I was literally concerned at the beginning that we were going to get smoked. We had to play an A game to get out of there with a W. Good luck the rest of the way, and maybe we'll see you folks in NYC.
