Nova is a GREAT team. We are just a bad matchup for them, and Jay Wright hasn't adjusted at all.

Man, Creighton is playing ridiculous. Great job. I think the Jays are just a difficult matchup for Nova.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Serious question: If both Nova and Creighton finish with the same record, are they technically co-champs of the Big East? I know that Creighton would be the #1 seed at MSG because of the head-to-head situation, but I'm not sure that matters when determining the regular season champion. Anyone know for sure?

My gut says they would be Co-Champions.

Coach McDermott just did something really cool.

Stopped the "Overrated" chant right after it started.

Definitely a fan of the Creighon coach. Seems like a class act.

Hopefully this doesn't get too chippy in the final minutes. These are two very good teams who don't need to resort to that kind of stuff.

With that said, congrats to Creighton on yet another convincing victory against Nova. I can't help but be amazed not only by McDermott, but but also by the ease with which Creighton got good looks offensively throughout the entire game. I would hate to see Creighton a third time, but I'm not sure there's any avoiding it once we get to MSG in March.

I think the team neither one of us wants to see in the BET is the Johnnies. Even when they were losing earlier in the season, their athleticism and length made me wary of them.

I'm not scared of any team in the Big East besides Creighton. Creighton scares the crap out of me, for good reason... Johnnies are the 3rd-best team in the conference, but Villanova is a better team than them.

Tons of credit to Villanova for refusing to quit, especially when the refs did  . And I know the fans of the losing team in every basketball game always blame the refs (and in no way did the officiating have anything to do with the outcome of the game) but under 8 min to go the refs flat out got lazy. Nova had about 3 calls go against them that were iffy, and they missed Chatman's swipe that was all ball. It's like they saw the game was already in hand and decided to mail it in.

Nova is an excellent team and this just shows that Creighton's personnel and style of play are just a nightmare for you guys. Same thing goes for us against SJU. Doesn't take away from the overall resume this season. I was a little baffled that Jay Wright didn't think outside of the box to adjust. He stubbornly stuck with the same defensive gameplan after it clearly didn't work in Game 1. The only think he did different this time was guard Wragge at half court. And I would've fed Ochefu and Pinkston till they burped in the post, and he went away from that for a big stretch in the middle of the game.

Hope to see you in the finals at MSG!
