LOL, Dawgsforlife tries to be magnanimous here while ripping CU to shreds on his board.

Nice try.

This game was key for a conference road winning record, one more to go. The last one is gonna be really tough though at Marquette, Georgetown, and Xavier. I would say Marquette is the most winnable of the three but it will take a better performance than tonight. So glad the Jays pulled it out. Great effort by Butler.

Poor Butler, they simply can't catch a break. 6 of their 13 losses have been by 5 points or less with 4 of those coming in OT.

Ripping to shreds by saying Dougies? Fine, the Creighton Bluejays swept the Butler Bulldogs this season, and were the superior opponent. I wish them well in the NCAAs and may they give the league many a credit. Better?

Seton Hall- with their typical sell out crowd.

But we don't pass the eye test, do we?

That is not being a sore loser, that is the eye test. Tell me one player on their team that scares you next year? Also, given the fact that their entire scoring output is graduating next year. Their entire offense is designed for the coach's son, and good for them they are playing hard and winning games. Do I think they could beat Cuse, Duke, or even SLU--no. That is just me telling how it is. If they make a F4, you can quote me, and I will gladly eat my words.

Man Seton Hall suspends 2 of their best players. I feel really bad for them. I remember when Harrison and Pointer were suspended last year and it kept us out of the NCAA tourney. With that said, SJ better be smelling blood in the water and finish them early. Lose this game and no way we deserve to be even on the bubble. I'm glad it was just a suspension and not injuries for SHU. We need to keep our star players healthy to keep this conference competitive.

*Obekpa gets whistled way too much for goaltending…that block looked totally legit. He's just such a freak athlete jumping and timing that it looks too good to be true. It was very close. 2 clean blocks already called goaltending…PERFECT BLOCK! Wtf?

*Nice bounce back by Creighton. Butler played them tough. No days off in this conference! Hoping we get the W today because I will be at MSG on Sunday vs. G'Town.

Not to mention the "hot" RedStorm fans... guess NJ is too far to travel?

OK, maybe I'm overreacting, but I read that on your board and then your post here like 10 seconds later and couldn't help but laugh at the tone differential.

I do not think so. SJU game comes to mind. The one issue with the Jays is they lack skilled players beyond Dougie who can guard, sky for rebounds, ect. I will repeat what I said on the Butler board since that is what you are quoting, I think they would have a hard time with athletic teams. I have no idea what Jays fans think of their team or if their expectations (ie F4, sweet 16, whatever). Look, in one game, the Jays can hit 20 3s and make Nova or anyone else look bad, but you still have to play 5 more games. I honestly do not believe they have the horses to make a F4. This will burn you, and I am not trying to be mean, but I do think the Shockers can get back if they get a good draw. It will be interesting to see how they adapt with Dougie gone, obviously the Dawgs have not done well without Stevens and Jones.
